Service Description

Cathy Waggoner is a retired nurse who discovered historic rug hooking as a hobby in 2004. She has hooked over 50 rugs since then, and dreams of having a shop. Her dream has been partially realized with space in Quilter’s Corner Station in Carthage, Mo. On Sep 23,2023 Cathy will teach a workshop at the Crawford County Historical Museum from 10am to 1pm. The project will be the small pumpkin table mat pictured above. This project will teach participants the basic techniques of hooking, as well as history of the craft. All materials are provided. Class is limited to 10 students age 12 and up. Cost of the workshop is $25.
